I have dealt with so many people in my life, but I have never had such a bad experience in my life than this. I went to view a property and a man by the name of Alan Bennett was going to show us around. To begin with, he was late, and when he arrived late he didn’t apologise, and all we saw was he had a miserable look on his face. He is properly the most unpleasant property estate agent I have experienced, he was rude and unhelpful when asked questions about the property, it felt so awkward that it was like you had to beg him to answer any questions, he was not happy being there and it seemed he didn’t want us to be there. He kept saying he was very busy and had other properties to show people, indicating it felt we needed to leave. I’m not sure what’s going on with his business, he was under pressure or short of staff, however what I can’t understand, how can he reflect that image with potential genuine buyers. The whole experience was really bad, he put us off of the whole area, not only the property. If you are going to sell your property, I would suggest you to think twice before choosing this estate agent, specifically Alan Bennett. I was so genuinely interested in putting in an offer, but the experience left me with no choice just to forget it. I feel so sorry for the vendor who trusted this man on probably their biggest asset of their life.
