recently had my dental treatment done at Makident and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, the team was professional, welcoming, and extremely reassuring. They explained every step of the process clearly and made me feel completely at ease. The clinic itself was modern, clean, and equipped with the latest technology, which gave me a lot of confidence in the treatment I was receiving. The results have been amazing — my smile looks natural, bright, and exactly how I hoped it would. On top of that, the whole experience was very cost-effective compared to prices back home, without compromising on quality. I would absolutely recommend Makident to anyone considering dental work abroad. The care, attention to detail, and final outcome exceeded my expectations.

Dentist in the uk advised they have used temporary’s and what we paid for we did not get this is fraud! the trauma this has caused all they want is your money ! Exceptional experience from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble from the gentleman that collected me and did all my transfers whilst staying in Antalya to all the staff at Makident itself. No pain, no stress -everything was 1st class. The dental practice itself is immaculate. Would highly recommend

If your intending on small dental work here i wouldnt reccomend. They seem to prioritse larger jobs. Clinic is warm and staff are nice but we didnt go ahead with treatment due to changes in pricing and general attitude when they realised we only needed small work done.

I was considering Makident Dental Clinic in Turkey, but after reading some honest reviews, I decided not to contact them. My honest review,Update on my last post warning on Makident Dental Clinic Avoid and chose your dentist wisely research research. Deeply Disappointed by Unprofessional Conduct and Lack of Transparency After spending nearly £10,000 at Makident Clinic across four visits, two for myself and two accompanying my partner I feel compelled to share a very disappointing experience that raises serious concerns about professionalism, financial transparency, and ethical conduct. While the dental staff have generally been kind and courteous, the behaviour of the male coordinator during one of are recent visit was completely unacceptable. He acted in a controlling and aggressive manner, most shockingly, he followed me when I went to the restroom, seemingly to ensure I didn’t check on my partner, who was undergoing a very stressful treatment (his first in nearly 30 years due to dental anxiety). When my partner came out and I tried to comfort him in the waiting room, the coordinator shouted, “DO NOT TALK TO HIM – THIS IS SERIOUS,” and even threatened to remove me. This humiliating outburst happened in front of other patients and was deeply distressing. We also experienced what I believe to be questionable financial practices. A 15% surcharge (£500) was added to a £3,500 payment simply because I used a bank card despite being told previously that card payments were acceptable with no additional fee. Even worse, £3,701 was taken from my account, £101 more than I had authorised with no receipt provided for ANY of the payments made. It had been mutually agreed I would pay £3,600 and settle any difference later,of the whopping 500.00 charge for paying on the card,I’ve since reported the overcharge to my bank and blocked further transactions from the clinic. After speaking with other patients, it is clear that Makident are not consistent with their percentages,after speaking with other guests at the hotel they were all charged different %,one patient was charged 100.00 on a 4k payment on a card,there was also talk of patients treatment plans doubling in price don’t be ripped off by these dentists who take advantage of patients from the uk. There were also serious issues with the treatment plan. The coordinator tried to change my partner’s agreed zirconium crowns to a different material without full explanation or consent. He asked my partner to sign off on the revised plan while I was not present. When I later asked what material had actually been used specifically whether the crowns were monolithic zirconium or had a porcelain layer, I was met with evasive answers and told, condescendingly, “Do not choose words,” and to “stay off the internet.” To this day, the clinic has refused to confirm what type of crowns were used, and no receipts have been issued for any payments made. This complete lack of transparency is unacceptable. The clinic also failed to honour promises regarding accommodation and flight reimbursement. (Clarification of their policy regarding this was asked for in my email) We were provided a hotel for three nights but were then asked to move and cover costs ourselves despite treatment still being ongoing,extra 2 days into are holiday,Meanwhile, the clinic has stated publicly (in replies to other reviews) that flights and accommodation are covered for other patients. My partner also endured three full days of intensive filing (up to 8 hours a day), which seemed excessive and raised serious concerns about the team’s level of experience, As we had a new dentist who must of been training,as I and other patients at the hotel never spent intensive hours over many days having teeth filed. To make matters worse, the colour of the bottom crowns initially didn’t match the top ones. This would have gone unnoticed if we hadn’t raised it suggesting a lack of attention to detail that could have resulted in a poor outcome. I’m sure Makident will reply to this review, even though I emailed them 14 days ago asking for clarification on all the points mentioned together with a WhatsApp message kindly requesting a reply, I have yet to receive a single response. Overall, we feel let down, overcharged, and misled. What began as a hopeful experience has ended in distress, frustration, and mistrust. I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone looking for ethical, transparent, and patient-focused dental care, I have everything backed up as evidence,screenshots and from other guests so if anyone wants to get hold Plse do. Talking with guests at the hotel one person mentioned if you had the funds which we did?why didn’t MAKIDENT get you to transfer the payment to there business account ??? 🇹🇷

The dentist seemed hurried and didn’t take the time to explain the procedures thoroughly. The clinic looked modern, but don’t be fooled — the quality of care was substandard. I experienced pain and discomfort afterward, and when I tried to contact them for help, follow-up support was virtually nonexistent. I regret trusting them with my dental care and strongly advise others to do more research and consider other clinics with more consistent, verified positive feedback. Dental tourism can be great — just not at Makident.

The manager who greeted me had yellow teeth, which was surprising and concerning for someone working in a dental clinic. The main dentist also had very poor teeth — hardly the image of professionalism and dental care. It made me question the standards of the clinic right away. Once I was there, the quoted price suddenly increased by around £2,000, with no clear explanation. This was a major red flag, as it felt deceptive and dishonest. To make matters worse, the dentist who performed my procedure was not the same one they showcase on their Instagram account. The results were not great, and two months later, I’m still experiencing problems with my teeth. When I contacted them for support, they told me that their guarantee only covers cases where a tooth is broken, not when there are ongoing issues or discomfort. Their attitude was dismissive, and it’s clear that once they have your money, they are no longer interested in helping or providing proper aftercare. In summary: Makident Turkey gave a very poor impression of professionalism and care. The increase in price upon arrival, the switch of dentists, the low-quality results, and the lack of aftercare all point to a clinic that prioritizes profit over patient wellbeing. I strongly advise others to stay away from this company. In my opinion, their advertising is misleading, and their customer service is non-existent once you’ve paid. Please do your research and choose a trustworthy clinic that truly cares about their patients.

makident dental clinic turkey was the worst experience ever they give you this price and then when they get there they all make out they can’t speak English except the negotiator that tops you up with the price but then you realise they can all speak English when it suits them, teeth came out absolutely terrible Bad people Bad company. Will negotiate price whilst you’re in your country and when you get to turkey there your price goes through the roof Beware.

The WORST RESULTS & EXPERIENCE EVER!!! They destroyed my teeth & my confidence I wish I never went to this clinic!!! They caused me depression & loss of a lot of money! I had crowns done with this clinic, and I paid an enormous amount of money. in my consultation, I specifically told them what issues I had with my prior crowns and they said that it was no problem for them to fix and it was all a lie. It was just take my money and not care about my results. The dentist is terrible me and my sister both had teeth done here and she is Extremely unprofessional and extremely rude I’ll give you attitude if you ask her To do her job and does not like to say she’s wrong when she does something to ruin your teeth she will blame it on you and the clinic will be on her side even when they can SEE that she is wrong !!! The customer is not right in this clinic. I have never been treated so terribly after paying an enormous amount of money to do my teeth. After a few weeks, they already started chipping and they’re supposed to be strong crowns that are durable for years. I’m hurt because I was lied to taken advantage of and extremely sad of my results !!!!! I cannot show my face anywhere because every time I look in the mirror I want to cry. I’ve addressed this with them multiple times when I was there, and they would lie and said they will fix it, but in person they would say there’s nothing they could do even though, the dentist purposely destroyed my Teeth and Smile & caused me a look for teeth I did not want!! no matter how much you pay or what material they use they are lying after a few weeks weeks they will start breaking/ cracking/chipping slowly. The treatment & results I received were so bad i’m still trying to fix it by spending more money that I don’t have because I saved up to come to this clinic to do my teeth. I am full of regret. Please do not make the same mistake as me find another clinic because there are so many in Antalya that will do an amazing job.

I went to Makident in Antalya for 20 zirconium crowns. The whole experience was agony. I came home but was put on codeine for the pain. After 8 weeks I returned because the pain was so bad. They told me it was nothing they did and it was ‘genetic’ Highly unlikely as I’ve never had tootheache ever before this. They then did 8 root canals on me because of the pain and tried to charge me an additional 800 (only told me this after they had done them) i paid them 250 and told them I would pay a contribution but I was in pain because of their work and not there for cosmetic so I shouldn’t be paying anything. That was in January and I’m still in pain with my bottom teeth and back on codeine. Not sure why as I’ve had root canals on the ones still in pain. I’m hoping it will subside in time but I don’t know. Just letting people know about my experience with them.

Also they made my k9s so long i looks like a vampire. Since my procedure with this dentist I’ve been so depressed since doing my teeth with them & after spending thousands of dollars they refused to fix my teeth even with me offering to pay for new teeth while i was in turkey !!! They would tell me “yes we can fix it tomorrow” over WhatsApp but in person would tell me the opposite !!!!! The dentist in person would tell me no after saying yes over text. The dentist REFUSES to accept her ruining my teeth!! & They stood behind a dentist that ruined my teeth. I’ve been crying every day since she got them done and they will not do anything to help me fix her mistake! They just took my money and left me with depression and a loss of thousands of dollars !!! Be careful!! They make it sound so good in the beginning but then don’t care if you like or hate the outcome. I’m spending more money trying to fix them losing thousands of dollars to fix their mistakes !!!!!! I told her so many times I don’t like the teeth before putting them on and she PUSHED the teeth on me. Paying that was my ONLY choice. It is evil what was done to my mouth I’m crying every single day because of it. Please choose wisely and don’t believe everything said to you in the beginning like I did when they made it sound good

Hi my name is Annie I came to this… Hi my name is Annie I came to this dentist in September last year to have cosmetic bonding done I paid £1500 for the bonding £350 for flights and money on food ect.. then in November they chipped after a lot off messages back and forth they finally agreed to fix only the 1 tooth but guess was something so had to pay for my flights again and accommodation and money to spend while there so they fixed the issue was a bit rude but not I gave about 5 teeth that has chipped one tooth has chipped that bad it’s chipped some off my original tooth as they shave them a little so n ok w my i ok an teeth are damaged no dentist will help here in England because the works been done in turkey they offered to fix there mistake but then that more money on flights and some where to stay and spending money I’m so disappointed please please please don’t go to these guy i want at least half my money back or I’m suing for damages and costs

Makident Dental Clinic  DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! find any other clinic in Antalya. The rudest dentist in the world!!!!! & doesn’t take accountability for her mistakes when ruining my teeth!!! I had my teeth done there paid over 4000$ USD for the dentist to ruin my mouth!!!! I had my teeth done and everytime I would tell her to fix something she would try to convince me to not even though I’m the one paying! After cementing my crowns she left holes in between my bottom teeth because she shaved too much from the sides and then would not take accountability for her Mistake and blame it on the patient as well as saying to pay more to fix it even though it was her fault. From the first time I asked her nicely to change something in the teeth (during the fitting) she would huff and puff and kiss her teeth as well as talk BAD about me in Turkish to her assistant for all the 4-5 days I was there!! She would make fun of me and call me names thinking I didn’t understand because I speak English in front of me. Terrible treatment & customer service!!!! I would come in everyday and say hi to everyone and she would look me up and down and ignore me every single day!!!! Just blatantly RUDE. The people working the front are more nicer than the actual person doing your teeth!! There are so many other clinics in turkey that would never treat the patient like this , do not waste your money or time.

They did my teeth 3 weeks ago and I’ve been begging them to fix it and they REFUSE!!! my face is ruined I spent over $11,000 DOLLARS!!! flying from a different country I believed their words over WhatsApp because they. made everything sound so good but it was all a LIE after they took my payment!!!! The front desk people know how to be nice but the dentist they have there is so unprofessional & a manipulative liar who is so negative & talks bad about her patients infront of them!!! I was not surprised to read other reviews that stated the same experience with this dentist. ive been miserable since my appointment , I hate my smile and they refuse to acknowledge or accept responsibility even after spending so much of my money there, find anyyyy other clinic there are so many other good ones in turkey!!! BECAREFUL. They will make you believe they are amazing & once they take your money you will be stuck with teeth that THEY choose/like. they do not care about your opinion or outlook on your teeth as long as THEY like them.
